Job description
Arabic-Speaking Account Manager, Training and Workshops
Think Media Labs is looking for an Arabic-speaking account manager to sell our training and workshops to government entities in the United Arab Emirates. Full-time, in our Dubai office.
Arabic is the first requirement. You will present to government teams in Arabic and sit in meetings that switch languages mid-sentence. If your Arabic is conversational only, this is not the right fit.
We deliver government projects in the United Arab Emirates. We have been doing it for 16 years. Training is one of the things we are great at. More than 2,300 people trained, plus 4,600 entrepreneurs enabled through government programs. We train two audiences: the government team members themselves, and the communities those entities support.
We have the track record, the materials, and the trainers. What we want now is one person whose whole job is to put that in front of more entities.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
You sell training. That is the whole job. Not our other services, not a bit of everything. Training and workshops, to government entities and to the communities they support.
You build your own pipeline. You find the entities, you find the person inside them who owns the training budget, you get the meeting, you run it, and you bring back a real opportunity. Nobody hands you a list.
We give you a lot to work with. Sixteen years of government delivery, a detailed record of every program we have trained and whom we trained it for, the case studies, the proposals, the pricing, and time with our senior team to shape the direction of a deal. Senior leadership joins the meetings when needed. You are not doing this alone. The pipeline is still yours to build.
WHAT WE EXPECT:
You have sold training before, and you can tell us exactly what you sold, to whom, and for how much. It is important that you have sold training specifically. Sales experience in other areas does not carry over. The buyer is different, the questions are different, and the reasons a deal is won or lost are different.
At least five years in sales.
You have worked in the UAE. You know how long a government decision takes, who actually signs, and what the purchase order process looks like. UAE experience is a must.
Arabic and English, both at a professional level. You present and negotiate in both.
Government experience is a plus. If you have sold to a government entity in the UAE before, say so early in your application.
You are in the office. This is a Dubai-based, full-time role. When you are not in a client meeting, you are with the team.
COMPENSATION:
A monthly base salary plus uncapped commission on everything you close. The base covers you while you build the pipeline. The commission has no ceiling. Tell us your expected base in the form, and we will go through the commission structure at the interview.
If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.
