Assistant Production Manager - Interior & Exhibition

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant Production Manager to oversee all factory and site production activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating, planning, coordinating, and managing the production process to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent coordination between design, procurement, operations, and installation teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage daily production activities.
• Develop production schedules and allocate manpower efficiently.
• Ensure projects are completed within agreed timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate with the Design, Estimation, Procurement, and Project Management teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Review production drawings before manufacturing begins.
• Monitor fabrication quality and ensure adherence to approved drawings and specifications.
• Supervise carpentry, painting, CNC, acrylic, metal, electrical, graphics, and finishing works.
• Identify production risks and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control.
• Oversee loading, logistics, and installation readiness.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff and supervisors.
• Optimize production efficiency while minimizing waste and rework.
• Maintain machinery, tools, and equipment in good working condition.
• Prepare daily and weekly production progress reports for management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Construction, Interior Design, Production Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in exhibition stand manufacturing or interior fit-out production.
• Strong knowledge of joinery, fabrication, finishing, and site installation.
• Able to estimate projects accurately.
• Excellent planning, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Valid UAE driving licence is mandatory.

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
