Safety Officer

PFC Group is seeking a motivated and responsible Safety Officer to join our construction team. The candidate will assist in maintaining health, safety and environmental standards across construction sites and ensure compliance with company safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce HSE compliance across construction sites.
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.
• Identify hazards and implement corrective and preventive measures.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training sessions.
• Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports.
• Promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field
• Educational certificate must be attested by UAE Embassy
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction industry
• Basic knowledge of construction HSE regulations and procedures
• NEBOSH / IOSH certification preferred
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site safety inspections
• Ensure proper implementation of PPE and safety procedures
• Assist in toolbox talks and safety training sessions
• Report unsafe acts and hazardous conditions
• Maintain HSE reports and documentation
• Support incident investigations and corrective actions

Education:

• Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

• Construction: 5 years (Preferred)
