Accountant

Job Description:

Genex Clinic Laboratory is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will possess at least 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE, demonstrate a strong understanding of accounting principles, and be dedicated to maintaining financial accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and documentation in accordance with accounting standards.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, financial policies, and reporting requirements.
• Process payroll and manage employee expense claims.
• Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits.
• Support the finance team in implementing accounting software and financial systems improvements.
• Provide insights and recommendations for improving financial processes and controls.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience in the UAE.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Zoho or similar) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
