Arabic B Teacher – Dubai

A British curriculum school in Dubai is seeking a qualified and experienced Arabic B Teacher for a full-time position.

Requirements

Candidates should have:

• A recognised Bachelor’s degree in Arabic, Education, or a relevant field
• A recognised teaching qualification
• Relevant experience teaching Arabic B to non-native Arabic speakers
• Strong knowledge of UAE Arabic curriculum requirements
• Eligibility to meet KHDA teacher appointment requirements
• Strong classroom management, planning and assessment skills
• Ability to differentiate learning for students with varying levels of Arabic proficiency
• Good communication skills in English

UAE school experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Arabic B lessons for non-native speakers
• Adapt teaching according to students’ language proficiency and learning needs
• Assess and track student progress and attainment
• Use assessment information to plan appropriate support and intervention
• Maintain high expectations for learning and behaviour
• Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development
• Maintain accurate student records and communicate professionally with parents and colleagues

Position: Full-time
