We are looking for an EDI System Analyst to support the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our global EDI landscape and related business applications. In this role, you will ensure reliable electronic data exchange with customers and suppliers, provide second-level support, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to the development of scalable and efficient integration solutions.
Working closely with business stakeholders, ERP teams, IT colleagues, and external partners, you will help deliver high-quality EDI services that support business operations across a global environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Implement new EDI connections and maintain existing customer and supplier integrations.
- Provide second-level support for EDI systems and related applications, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Analyze and resolve technical EDI incidents in collaboration with internal IT teams and external service providers.
- Configure, develop, test, and document EDI mappings, interfaces, communication settings, and integration components.
- Support onboarding activities for new trading partners and ensure smooth integration with ERP systems.
- Monitor EDI transactions and data flows, identify recurring issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain technical and process documentation for EDI systems, interfaces, and operational procedures.
- Ensure compliance with business requirements, IT standards, security expectations, and support processes.
- Contribute to the implementation of new EDI technologies, standards, tools, and system enhancements.
What You Bring
- Degree in Information Technology, Business Informatics, Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in EDI, system integration, ERP interfaces, or comparable business application environments.
- Practical experience implementing and maintaining EDI solutions, ideally in an international industrial or automotive environment.
- Good understanding of business processes across sales, purchasing, logistics, supply chain, and warehouse operations.
- Experience working with ERP systems, EDI standards, communication protocols, mapping tools, and operational support processes.
- Strong knowledge of EDI concepts, message types, mapping logic, partner connectivity, and communication standards.
- Analytical and structured problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and develop sustainable solutions.
- Ability to translate business and technical requirements into robust and maintainable EDI solutions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in an international and cross-functional environment.
- Service-oriented mindset, hands-on approach, and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Business fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
