Maintenance Engineer – Air Traffic Management (ATM) Systems

Job Purpose:

The Residence Maintenance Engineer will provide technical support for the maintenance, warranty, and operation of a complex ATM system and associated infrastructure. The role will work closely with local maintenance teams and international engineering teams to ensure system reliability and availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the installation, configuration, integration, testing, and maintenance of ATM systems and associated equipment.
• Provide first-line technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, networking, and system issues.
• Develop and deliver maintenance procedures and technical instructions for local engineering teams.
• Provide on-the-job training and technical guidance to maintenance personnel.
• Support software upgrades, releases, problem reports, and hardware repair activities.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues and implement required system changes.
• Support cybersecurity and system maintenance activities.
• Travel to other project sites or overseas for technical support and training when required.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree or technical qualification in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Experience with complex computer systems, including servers, network switches, firewalls, and related infrastructure.
• Experience in software configuration and implementation.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity and UNIX/Linux operating systems.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking and data transmission.
• Good understanding of computer hardware, peripherals, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Good command of technical English.
• Experience with ATM systems or TopSky-ATC is highly desirable.
