Job description

Robot24.com | Dubai, UAE | Full-time, in-office

About Robot24.com

Robot24.com is a robotics news and broadcasting platform, built to be the go-to destination for robotics coverage globally. The tech and editorial teams are in place, and the growth engine is scaling. We're hiring a Content Strategist to make sure everything we publish, across the website and every social platform, is working toward the same growth and audience goals.

About the Role

This role sits between editorial and growth. You'll define what content gets made, in what format, for which platform, and why, and you'll make sure content decisions are driven by what actually grows reach and engagement, not just editorial instinct. You won't be producing every piece of content yourself, but you will be setting the strategy the content and growth teams execute against.

What You'll Own

Content Strategy

  • Define the content strategy across the Robot24.com website and every social platform: YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and Facebook
  • Decide how a single piece of robotics coverage gets adapted into native content for each platform, rather than reposted as-is
  • Set content pillars, formats, and cadence, and keep them evolving as platform algorithms and audience behaviour shift

Editorial and Growth Alignment

  • Work closely with editorial to shape coverage decisions around what will actually perform and grow reach, without compromising editorial credibility
  • Work closely with the Head of Growth to make sure content strategy and distribution strategy are one coordinated motion
  • Brief writers, video producers, and editors on format and platform requirements

Performance and Iteration

  • Track what content performs and why, by platform and format, and turn that into a repeatable content strategy rather than one-off wins
  • Run structured content experiments (formats, hooks, posting times, series) and use results to refine the strategy
  • Report on content performance against the wider growth KPI framework

Content Calendar and Planning

  • Own the content calendar across all channels, balancing planned coverage, trend-responsive content, and evergreen pieces
  • Plan content around key robotics and AI industry moments to maximise relevance and timing

What We're Looking For

Must-haves

  • Proven experience building and running a content strategy that measurably grew reach, traffic, or engagement, ideally across multiple platforms
  • Strong understanding of what content performs on major social platforms and why, at a practitioner level, not theoretical
  • Ability to translate a content strategy into clear briefs that writers, editors, and video producers can execute against
  • Comfortable working with performance data to make content decisions, not just creative instinct

Strongly preferred

  • Experience in a news, media, or publishing environment where content strategy had to balance credibility with reach
  • Genuine interest in or familiarity with AI, tech, or robotics content and its audience

Not a fit

  • Experience limited to producing content, without having set the strategy behind it
  • No track record of content strategy translating into measurable growth in reach or engagement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 4+ years in content strategy, editorial strategy, or a closely related content-and-growth hybrid role
  • Demonstrable results: content strategies you've built and the reach, traffic, or engagement growth they drove
  • Familiarity with content and social analytics tools (native platform analytics, GA4, or equivalent)

What Success Looks Like

  • 3 months: a documented content strategy is live across all channels, with clear pillars, formats, and a working calendar
  • 6 months: content performance is measurably improving against the growth KPI framework, and the strategy is running as a repeatable system rather than ad hoc decisions
