PMO Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Own the weekly Portfolio Dashboard and reporting cycle, ensuring accurate and timely project inputs.
• Prepare weekly and monthly executive reports, portfolio summaries and ad hoc management presentations.
• Maintain Projects, Pipeline, Risks and Decisions registers, ensuring data is accurate, current and actionable.
• Challenge incomplete, outdated or inconsistent project information and follow up on risks, decisions and corrective actions.
• Manage project intake and stage-gate governance, ensuring required documentation and approvals are in place.
• Conduct project health checks, documentation audits and portfolio risk reviews.
• Maintain PMO templates, procedures, standards and document-control frameworks.
• Support project owners with reporting processes and drive continuous process improvement and standardisation.
• Support future migration from Excel-based reporting to a dedicated portfolio management platform.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems or a related field
• 4+ years’ experience in PMO, project controls, business analysis or governance
• Advanced Excel skills — XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, Pivot Tables, nested formulas, data validation and conditional formatting
• Strong PowerPoint and executive report-writing skills
• Fluent Arabic and English, written and spoken
• Excellent attention to detail and strong data-analysis skills
• Confident in challenging inaccurate or delayed information and working with senior stakeholders
• Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder-management skills
