The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, beverages, and light refreshments while providing friendly and professional service. The role ensures a welcoming guest experience and maintains high standards of quality, cleanliness, and presentation.Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, specialty beverages, and other menu items.
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment safely.
• Maintain consistent beverage quality, taste, temperature, and presentation.
• Welcome guests, take orders accurately, and provide menu recommendations.
• Handle cash, card payments, and billing according to hotel procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, service area, and equipment.
• Monitor stock levels and inform the supervisor of shortages or supply requirements.
• Follow proper storage, labeling, and rotation procedures for ingredients.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, health, and safety standards.
• Respond to guest requests and feedback in a professional manner.
• Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and stock-taking duties.
• Work cooperatively with the Food & Beverage team to ensure smooth service.

Desired Skill & Expertise: Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience as a Barista in a hotel, café, or restaurant is preferred.
• Good knowledge of coffee preparation and beverage service.
• Basic knowledge of espresso-making techniques and equipment.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn.
