Market Analyst - 1 Year Contract

Decision Accountabilities

Handle costing analysis to enable the customers to make informed strategic sourcing decision.

Manage the administrative aspect of pricing, costing set up and ensuring a positive variance

To manage the consolidation of KPI reporting and perform trend analysis and thereby enable Key Account Managers to engage internal stakeholders and customers in a positive trend

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate project execution and address operational issues.

Perform single market and global cost studies with value added supply chain insight in support of customer’s strategic sourcing analysis or when requested by Key Account Team.

Set up costing and pricing in HAVI’s pricing system whilst ensuring a positive variance that is within the stipulated threshed set by the customers. Validate costing from suppliers where there is invoicing discrepancies.

Analyse and comment on movement trends pertaining to customer’s price variance report. Get buy in with Market to make pricing adjustment recommendations to correct the variance should it fall outside the stipulated threshold.

Manage new suppliers onboarding to ensure a positive experience for them across HFM functional teams.

Generate KPI reports and perform trend analysis of agreed KPI to enable Key Account Executive/Manager business review discussion with customers.

Collaborate with Sales & Marketing Manager to ensure alignment with FM strategies in forecasting, business planning & sales pipeline development.

Perform feasibility studies, pricing analysis, and develop businesscases to support new initiatives and service enhancements.

Manage forecasting across all markets, receive forecasts from markets and translate to suppliers and distribute within timeline on monthly bases.

OIR management for EDI invoices that OOCL and Maersk accounting for 30%of volume across region.

Lead and manage contingencies/Limited time Offers (LTO) arrangement across HFM functional teams and overseeing the processes till shipments arrived at Destination.

Skills and Experience

Essential

3 years of experience in market analysis, business intelligence, or strategic planning roles. Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or international trade is highly desirable.

Strong analytical skills with eye for details with the ability to present complex information in a simplified manner.

Ability to perform complex scenarios and costing analysis coupled with the expertise to assimilate information effectively in order to make informed decisions quickly.

Independent, resourceful and possess high drive to excel

Ability to multi-task, manage and prioritize and re-prioritize with a sense of urgency.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, particularly the capability to analyse large volumes of data

Desirable

Relevant experience in supply chain analysis will be an advantage
