Job description

Responsibilities JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Manage sales of Coherent’s optics portfolio, serving integrators and OEM customers in microelectronics and materials processing markets
  • Drive revenue growth across DACH and BeNeLux regions by achieving booking and revenue sales targets
  • Develop and expand relationships with new and existing customers
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory
  • Manage and grow selected key accounts, ensuring long-term customer success
  • Collaborate with global Technical Business Units to deliver best-in-class customer support
  • Partner with regional Sales Management to optimize sales strategies and contribute to product roadmaps
  • Lead promotional activities and customer engagements across the region
  • Negotiate complex supply agreements and commercial terms with customers
  • Ensure accuracy and robustness of all sales transactions
  • Provide real-time visibility of business performance, forecasts, and market trends to management

Skills And Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Physics, ideally with a focus on photonics
  • Additional business education is considered an advantage
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales of complex products, preferably optics-related
  • Experience working in international and multicultural environments
  • Strong background in key account management and stakeholder engagement
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and German (written and spoken)
  • Ability to work independently with a structured and self-motivated approach
  • Strong team player with flexibility and adaptability
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region
