Industrial Electrician

As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of electrical systems across major data centre, pharmaceutical and industrial projects throughout Europe. Working as part of MTM Engineering's project delivery teams, you will support the successful execution of mission-critical electrical installations while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality and workmanship. The role involves electrical installation, cable termination, testing, fault finding and commissioning activities within fast-paced project environments. Responsibilities* Install, maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment within data centre, pharmaceutical and industrial environments.

• Carry out glanding and termination of SWA cables in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Perform electrical inspections, testing and commissioning activities to ensure systems operate safely and efficiently.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults to support successful project delivery and minimise disruption.
• Install, maintain and support Building Management Systems (BMS) and associated control systems as required.
• Support the integration of electrical installations with mechanical HVAC systems and associated controls.
• Interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation to ensure accurate installation and commissioning.
• Work closely with supervisors, engineers and project teams to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to programme.
• Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with company procedures, client requirements and industry regulations.
• Maintain accurate testing, commissioning and project documentation as required.
• Promote and maintain high standards of health, safety, quality and housekeeping on all project sites.
• Support the successful delivery of projects through professional conduct and high-quality workmanship.

Requirements* Qualified Electrician with a recognised electrical qualification or trade certification.

• Minimum 3 years' experience in industrial electrical installation, maintenance or commissioning activities.
• Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) installation, maintenance or commissioning.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation.
• Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, equipment and installation practices.
• Knowledge of electrical regulations, industry standards and safe working practices.
• Strong fault-finding, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working within data centre, pharmaceutical, manufacturing or similar industrial environments is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a project team.
• Flexible approach to travel and working on projects across Europe.
• Eligibility to work across Europe.
