Committed to shaping the future of the healthcare system, CGM fosters a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. Its mission is to harness the power of knowledge to save lives and make healthcare smarter, simpler, and more effective.

About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Developer with extensive experience in Power BI to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of modern Power BI dashboards—from initial conception and prototyping to deployment and ongoing optimization. Your primary focus will be on creating intuitive, high-performance, and decision-relevant BI solutions that support strategic and operational decision-making. You will work closely with various business units to understand their needs, translate requirements into technical specifications, and develop robust data models. Your expertise will help turn complex data into clear, actionable insights, contributing significantly to our data-driven culture.

You will also play a key role in stakeholder engagement, facilitating workshops, defining KPIs, and advising on prioritization and implementation strategies. Collaborating with backend teams and the Microsoft-Fabric team, you will design and maintain semantic data models, ensuring data quality, governance, security, and compliance. Your work will enable the organization to leverage data effectively, identify growth opportunities, and develop strategic BI initiatives. This position offers the chance to work at the forefront of healthcare data analytics, making a tangible difference in patient care and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Business Analytics from a reputable university
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of professional experience in developing Power BI frontend solutions within B2B or enterprise environments
  • Expertise in DAX, Power Query M, and semantic data modeling (e.g., Star Schema, Dimensions, Facts)
  • Strong practical experience in stakeholder management, consulting, and requirements engineering
  • Proven ability to translate complex business needs into scalable, reliable BI solutions
  • Structured, precise, and responsible working style with proactive risk management
  • High learning agility and strong technology affinity, especially with Microsoft Fabric
  • Fluent in German (C1 level) and English (C1 level)

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire lifecycle of Power BI dashboards, from ideation and prototyping to go-live and continuous improvement
  • Engage deeply with business units to gather requirements, define use cases, and establish KPIs
  • Facilitate workshops and advise stakeholders on prioritization, feasibility, and implementation strategies
  • Design and maintain semantic data models, including star schemas and KPI layers, in collaboration with backend and Microsoft-Fabric teams
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and security by validating KPIs, establishing rollout and versioning concepts, and implementing RLS/OLS, sensitivity labels, and documentation
  • Identify insights and growth opportunities within marketing, sales, and market data, developing BI strategies accordingly
  • Prepare and present insights in a clear, compelling manner tailored to diverse audiences, including management
  • Monitor and optimize dashboard performance, usability, and relevance for decision-making
  • Promote best practices in data management, security, and documentation across projects

Benefits

  • Work-life balance initiatives, including job-bike leasing and various training programs
  • Access to regular health services such as vaccinations and eye examinations through company health programs
  • Participation in internal events and activities, both onsite and remote, fostering community and engagement
  • Personalized professional development opportunities through tailored training and courses
  • Flexible work arrangements, including the option for remote work two days per week
  • Inclusive workplace culture that values diversity regardless of disability, gender, nationality, ethnicity, religion, age, or sexual orientation
