Who we are:

Discera search is a boutique search firm in Berlin that is trying to remain human in this increasingly bullshit world we live in :D.

We do this by treating people online the same way we do people in the real world - respect, curiosity and integrity. In our world - that means supporting amazing doctors, scientists, vets and nurses find jobs with companies who actually make our lives better- curing cancer, alzheimers, helping people walk etc.

The role:

TLDR: Find great talent, help clients grow.

Candidates. Work directly with clients to understand what they need using our specialist Framework. Map the market, build the list, run the outreach. Then on the call, get to the real motivations and goals. If the fit is there, go make it happen.

Sales. Use our intelligence tools to find the right candidates and the right companies. Craft precise messages with my support, your research and LLMs. Run omnichannel outreach until you get a yes or a no, because people are busy and half-answers are your problem to solve.

Business development. Sales opens the door, BD deepens the relationship. Stay genuinely informed on your clients through our systems and your own digging. Company updates, people moves, pipeline news. Attend conferences here and internationally. Be a partner, not another forgettable email.

What am I looking for:

• Someone who can call 30 people, have 2 semi-decent conversations, get rejected by the other 28, and move on.
• Curious - this means asking more questions than speaking (cough “terrible-sales-people”-).
• Give us energy and smile! Teamwork makes the dream work and we want to work with great people too.
• If you go Berghain / Panorma / Kater on Sunday - you better still be enjoyable to work with on Monday 09:00 AM!
• Someone who wants a strong leader, not a babysitter. I'll push you and back you. I won't chase you.
• Strong English - German / Other EU languages a plus.
• Able to work in our office (Schöneberg, Berlin).
• Anyone who has sales, communication or related work are welcome. However, mindset, teamwork and drive outweigh everything.
• Finally No BS - honestly guys, I just want to work with cool people, make money and do fun stuff together.

The offer:

• 30,000 - 40,000- € Base Salary
• 20% - 35% commission on every deal with no bs hidden ways to take your money. (honestly guys, Im too lazy - take the money)
• Great coworking space with coffee, local gyms, trains, bars.
• Yearly working retreat - working from a beach, forest or other for a few days.
• Conferences, Events and Travel.
• Working together, with the senior people supporting calls, helping with research etc. We are a team. We face the ups and downs together.
• Progression options - into leadership, account management or other.
• Holidays duh!
• For those with recruitment experience (or after a year with us) - remote flexibility, investing in education, flexible start, flexible work schedules (ultimately, if you are doing the job well, you can be in charge of your routine)

Serious note, recruitment is a hard, but important and valuable job. We dont pollute. We dont sell guns, promote extremism or any other bullshit. Fair, some recruiters annoy their networks but the truly great recruiters are respected. When done right - we help people find new jobs, leave terrible bosses, spend more time with their children or finally get that promotion.

Our philosophy - Work hard. Take performance seriously. But enjoy it too. Life is too short to be average or hate your job.
