Graduate/Junior EHS Officer

Weltec Engineering is seeking a dynamic Graduate/Junior EHS Officer to join our team for a project in the Dresden Area. This role offers an excellent opportunity to kick-start your career in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) within a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Collaborate with our client to ensure project adherence to all Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
• Prepare comprehensive Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
• Conduct EHS audits and investigations, implementing corrective and preventative actions as needed.
• Provide expert advice on site EHS best practices to Project Management.
• Plan and deliver EHS training sessions, including 'Toolbox Talks.'
• Report on EHS performance metrics as required.
• Assist Senior Safety Officers and the EHS Department, including providing site cover relief when necessary.
• Maintain the EHS Safety Management System to ensure ongoing compliance and improvement.

Key Skills and Competencies:* A level 7 qualification in Health and Safety.

• Experience in the construction sector is desirable, though not essential. Exposure to Pharma, Med/Tech, or other high-compliance environments is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to develop positive working relationships with project stakeholders.
• Proficiency in IT skills, particularly in Word and Excel.
