Job description
Join a trusted name in logistics & freight solutions across the UAE. We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented professional to manage customs clearance and documentation for import/export operations in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end customs clearance for import/export shipments (sea, air & land)
- Prepare and review shipping documents (B/L, Invoice, Packing List, COO, D/O, etc.)
- Coordinate with UAE Customs, Dubai Trade, Mirsal 2, DP World & other authorities
- Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders & clearing agents for smooth clearance
- Ensure compliance with UAE customs regulations, HS codes, duties & taxes
- Track shipments & update internal teams on clearance status
- Resolve clearance delays, discrepancies & documentation issues
- Coordinate transport & delivery post-clearance
Requirements
- 2–4 years of UAE experience in logistics / customs clearance
- Strong knowledge of UAE customs systems (Dubai Trade, Mirsal 2 / e-Mirsal 2)
- Familiarity with Incoterms, HS codes, import/export documentation
- Experience with sea freight (FCL/LCL) and air freight clearance
- UAE driving license preferred
- Strong communication & coordination skills
- Proficiency in MS Office / logistics software
- Ability to work under pressure & meet deadlines
