ROLE PURPOSE
As a Logistics Manager, you will lead and coordinate vehicle logistics operations across ROX UAE, ensuring the efficient movement, storage, preparation, and delivery of vehicles between ports, yards, showrooms, service centers, and customer delivery locations.
You will manage logistics partners, transportation activities, vehicle inventory movement, import-related coordination, and operational timelines while ensuring vehicles are handled safely and delivered according to business requirements. Working closely with sales, aftersales, finance, operations, customs agents, transporters, and management, you will maintain accurate vehicle movement records and support smooth dealership operations across the UAE.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage day-to-day automotive logistics operations.
Monitor vehicle arrivals, transfers, storage, and delivery status.
Support vehicle stock reconciliation and physical inventory checks.
Maintain accurate vehicle inventory, location, and movement records.
Plan and coordinate vehicle transportation and movement schedules.
Monitor inbound vehicle shipments and ensure timely clearance and collection.
Monitor logistics costs, transportation charges, storage fees, and supplier invoices.
Negotiate and manage relationships with logistics providers and transportation partners.
Establish efficient processes for vehicle receiving, inspection, handover, transfer, and dispatch.
Work closely with service and PDI teams to schedule vehicle preparation and readiness.
Develop and maintain effective logistics procedures, controls, and documentation standards.
Manage logistics budgets and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and control costs.
Coordinate vehicle movements between ports, yards, showrooms, service centers, and delivery locations.
Liaise with shipping companies, customs brokers, transporters, storage facilities, and other logistics suppliers.
Ensure vehicles are transported, stored, and handled according to company and manufacturer standards.
Ensure vehicle damage during transportation or storage is properly documented, reported, and followed up.
Coordinate vehicle import, customs clearance, registration-related documentation, and required logistics processes.
Track vehicle movements and proactively address delays, damages, documentation issues, or operational bottlenecks.
Ensure sufficient transport capacity is available based on vehicle arrivals, sales forecasts, and operational demand.
Coordinate with sales and showroom teams to ensure vehicle availability supports sales and customer delivery requirements.
Coordinate logistics requirements for new vehicle launches, showroom openings, events, fleet movements, and special business requirements.
Ensure all logistics activities comply with UAE regulations, customs requirements, company policies, safety standards, and internal approval procedures.
Prepare regular management reports on vehicle stock movements, shipment status, operational issues, supplier performance, and upcoming requirements.
Monitor logistics KPIs including delivery timelines, transportation performance, vehicle turnaround time, storage utilisation, damages, and logistics costs.
Maintain complete records of shipping documents, customs documentation, vehicle movements, delivery notes, inspection reports, and logistics transactions.
Maintain strict confidentiality regarding vehicle shipments, inventory information, pricing, supplier agreements, commercial terms, internal reports, and company operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
Strong inventory control and vehicle tracking capabilities.
Strong leadership, planning, and operational coordination skills.
Arabic language skills or additional languages are an advantage.
Excellent written and spoken English communication is required.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to monitor costs and operational KPIs.
Ability to identify operational risks and resolve logistics issues quickly and effectively.
Strong knowledge of automotive dealership logistics and vehicle movement operations.
Ability to manage multiple shipments, vehicle movements, suppliers, and deadlines simultaneously.
UAE automotive dealership, distributor, importer, or automotive logistics experience is strongly preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics or ERP systems; SAP experience is considered an advantage.
Good understanding of UAE vehicle import, customs clearance, transportation, storage, and documentation processes.
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
Established knowledge of UAE ports, customs processes, vehicle transport operations, and logistics providers is a strong advantage.
Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience, preferably within automotive dealerships, distributors, importers, or vehicle logistics operations in the UAE.
Previous experience as a Logistics Manager, Automotive Logistics Manager, Vehicle Logistics Manager, Supply Chain Manager, or a comparable automotive logistics leadership role is required.
WORK CONDITIONS
Full-time position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Office, showroom, port, yard, service center, and field-based responsibilities.
Flexible working hours may be required depending on shipment arrivals and operational requirements.
Regular travel between company locations, vehicle storage facilities, ports, and logistics partners may be required.
Continuous coordination with sales, aftersales, finance, operations, customs agents, transporters, suppliers, and management.
May require extended working hours during major vehicle arrivals, launches, stock movements, events, or urgent operational requirements.
Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
