Job description
We are looking for a motivated and technically oriented Instrumentation Technician – Fresher to join our team. The ideal candidate should have an ITI or Diploma in Instrumentation / Industrial Instrumentation / Electronics & Instrumentation and a strong interest in developing a career in industrial instrumentation and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of industrial instrumentation systems.
- Assist senior technicians in working with pressure, temperature, flow, and level instruments.
- Support installation and maintenance of transmitters, switches, sensors, control valves, actuators, and other field instruments.
- Assist with instrument calibration and testing using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Learn and perform basic loop checking, continuity testing, and 4–20 mA signal verification under supervision.
- Assist in checking instrument wiring, cable termination, glands, and connections.
- Read and understand basic P&IDs, instrument loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, and datasheets.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Assist during commissioning, shutdown, and maintenance activities.
- Follow all company HSE, safety, and site procedures.
- Maintain proper tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Work closely with senior technicians and engineers to develop practical instrumentation skills.
Requirements
- ITI / Diploma in Instrumentation, Industrial Instrumentation, Electronics & Instrumentation, or a related technical field.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Basic understanding of instrumentation and electrical concepts.
- Willingness to learn field instrumentation, calibration, and maintenance.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in industrial/site environments.
- Immediate joiners available in the UAE are preferred.
- UAE experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
Preferred Knowledge
Candidates with basic knowledge of the following will be preferred:
- Pressure, temperature, flow & level instruments
- Control valves and actuators
- 4–20 mA signals
- Loop checking
- Calibration
- PLC/DCS basics
- P&IDs and loop diagrams
- Instrument cables and termination
- Industrial safety procedures
