Videomaker / Director of Photography (Freelance) for Cinematic Social Content

About us
We are a growing media department within an international consulting firm. We produce high-impact video content, primarily Reels, TikTok and Shorts in vertical format, along with VSLs, for our own projects and our clients', applying a cinematic visual language to short, immediate formats.

Who we're looking for
We're looking for a videomaker with director-of-photography skills: someone who, camera in hand, independently decides and manages shot composition, framing choices, lighting and exposure.

We're looking for someone who has studied cinematic language, whether through film school, structured courses, or years of deliberate hands-on practice, and can explain why a shot works, not just replicate it by instinct.

Contract type: Freelance

What you'll do

• Shoot short-form content (60–90 seconds) from a defined script, taking care of composition, framing, lighting and exposure
• Execute the technical and narrative direction agreed with the director/screenwriter, bringing the visual output up to the level the project requires

What we're looking for in you

• Ability to operate the camera and independently decide on framing, lighting and exposure
• Solid knowledge of shot grammar and terminology (shot sizes, angles, camera height, camera movement, depth of field)
• Background in film or photography (academic, through courses, or built through years of deliberate practice)
• Must be available to work on a freelance basis
• Based in Dubai, available for an ongoing/continuative project
