About the Role
Al Bayan Medical Center is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Business Manager to take overall responsibility for the clinic's business development, daily operations, revenue growth, financial performance, staff management, corporate partnerships and operational efficiency.
This is a senior, hands-on role for a person who can independently manage the complete business operations of a medical center and work closely with the owners. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving growth while ensuring smooth, compliant and cost-effective clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities1. Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute strategies to increase clinic revenue, patient footfall and profitability.
- Identify and generate new business opportunities from corporates, SMEs, insurance networks, community groups and other organizations.
- Develop and maintain SME and corporate tie-ups for medical services, health packages, employee health programs and corporate wellness initiatives.
- Build relationships with HR managers, PROs, administrators, insurance coordinators and corporate decision-makers.
- Identify new referral channels, partnerships and strategic business opportunities.
- Develop promotional packages and campaigns in coordination with doctors and management.
- Monitor lead generation, conversion, patient acquisition and revenue performance.
- Establish monthly and quarterly business targets and ensure achievement.
2. Complete Clinic Operations Management
- Take overall responsibility for the smooth day-to-day functioning of the medical center.
- Ensure efficient coordination between doctors, nurses, reception, billing, marketing, accounts and support staff.
- Monitor patient flow, appointment management, waiting time and overall patient experience.
- Identify operational gaps and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain SOPs for clinic operations wherever required.
- Ensure all departments are functioning efficiently and according to management expectations.
3. Staff Management & Recruitment
- Assess manpower requirements and coordinate recruitment of doctors, nurses, receptionists, billing staff and other clinic employees.
- Participate in interviewing, selection and onboarding of staff.
- Prepare staff responsibilities, KPIs and performance expectations.
- Monitor staff attendance, productivity, discipline and performance.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and recommend training or corrective action where required.
- Ensure adequate staffing and proper duty allocation.
4. Financial & Revenue Management
- Monitor daily, weekly and monthly clinic revenue.
- Track income, expenses, collections, outstanding payments and profitability.
- Prepare and review monthly financial and management reports.
- Monitor departmental revenue and doctor-wise performance.
- Control unnecessary expenses and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Work closely with the accountant/billing team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Monitor cash flow and support management in budgeting and financial planning.
- Ensure revenue targets are achieved and corrective action is taken when performance falls below target.
5. Inventory & Procurement Management
- Take responsibility for medical and non-medical inventory management.
- Monitor stock levels, consumption, expiry dates and wastage.
- Ensure timely procurement of medicines, medical supplies, consumables and office requirements.
- Maintain proper inventory records and stock controls.
- Coordinate with suppliers and negotiate where appropriate for better pricing and terms.
- Prevent stock shortages, overstocking and unnecessary wastage.
6. DHA / Regulatory & Compliance Coordination
- Coordinate and prepare the clinic for DHA inspections and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure required licenses, documents, records, SOPs and compliance requirements are maintained.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses and relevant departments to ensure inspection readiness.
- Track compliance requirements and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Liaise with relevant regulatory authorities and external service providers when required.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for regulatory and operational purposes.
7. Digital Marketing & Technology
- Develop and execute digital business development initiatives through Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Google and WhatsApp.
- Work with internal/external marketing resources to generate patient leads.
- Monitor digital campaigns, enquiries, conversions and ROI.
- Ensure the clinic has a strong online presence and effective patient communication.
- Use CRM, Excel/Google Sheets, reporting dashboards and other digital tools for business monitoring.
- Identify opportunities to use technology and AI tools to improve marketing, reporting and clinic efficiency.
8. Corporate & Community Engagement
- Develop relationships with companies, SMEs, schools, restaurants, labor accommodations, community organizations and other institutions.
- Organize corporate health camps, screenings, wellness programs and awareness activities.
- Develop customized healthcare packages for corporate clients.
- Maintain regular follow-up with existing corporate partners to generate repeat business.
- Build a strong referral and community network for the clinic.
9. MIS & Management Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports for the owners.
- Report on:
- Revenue
- Patient footfall
- New vs. returning patients
- Doctor-wise revenue
- Department-wise revenue
- Corporate business
- Leads and conversions
- Expenses
- Outstanding collections
- Inventory
- Staff productivity
- Marketing performance
- Profitability
- Present business performance, challenges and action plans directly to the owners.
10. Strategic & General Management
- Act as the key point of contact between the owners and clinic team.
- Take ownership of business performance and operational issues.
- Identify new services and revenue streams that can improve clinic profitability.
- Support the owners in expansion, new service launches and business planning.
- Ensure the clinic operates in a professional, patient-focused and commercially sustainable manner.
- Take initiative and solve operational and business problems independently.
- Represent the clinic professionally with doctors, patients, corporate clients, suppliers and external stakeholders.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
The Business Manager will be evaluated on:

Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Hospital Administration or a related field.
- MBA / Healthcare Management qualification preferred.
- Minimum 2**–3 years of relevant experience**, preferably in a UAE medical center, clinic or healthcare organization. (Fresher can also apply)
- Strong experience in business development and healthcare operations.
- UAE healthcare experience is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of DHA regulations and clinic inspection requirements.
- Proven experience in corporate/SME tie-ups and healthcare business development.
- Strong understanding of revenue, expenses, budgeting and cost control.
- Experience in staff recruitment and team management.
- Strong knowledge of inventory and procurement management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
- Strong Excel/MIS/reporting skills.
- Digitally savvy with knowledge of social media and digital marketing.
- Ability to work independently and take complete ownership of responsibilities.
- Strong commercial mindset with a focus on revenue and profitability.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who thinks like an entrepreneur and business owner, not simply an employee.
The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing the business, operations, people, revenue, expenses, marketing, corporate relationships, inventory and compliance of the medical center, while providing transparent and regular reporting directly to the owners.
Candidates with proven experience in managing a medical center/clinic and delivering measurable revenue growth will be strongly preferred.
Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
