Manager - Application Development

The Job holder is responsible to review development requirements/tickets from relevant stake holders and liaise with them if applicable and manage development team in developing and implementing software applications, software components and unit tests.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Review development requirements/tickets from relevant stake holders and liaise with them if applicable.
• Manage development team in developing and implementing software applications, software components and unit tests.
• Implementing new features based on business requirements.
• Working closely with other departments in identifying the opportunities to enhance Organization productivity.
• Educate and enrich team’s knowledge base.
• Guide teams on critical junctures.
• Manage application code base, their changes in a secured environment.
• Gather and evaluate team’s feedback.
• Conduct performance reviews on team’s every 3 months.
• Provide timely updates to the Reporting Manager.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Graduation/Post Graduation in Software Engineering/Computer Applications/Computer Science/Data Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in application development domain and leading development teams.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.
• Excellent understanding of software design and programming principles.
• In-depth understanding of modern software development technologies like Angular UI / TypeScript / REST API / .NET Core / EF Core.
• Good command in programming languages C# and SQL is a must.
• Good familiarity with Git repositories, CI/CD practices, Blue/Green and Canary deployment patterns.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work towards meeting multiple deadlines simultaneously.

Pay: AED23,000.00 - AED25,000.00 per month
