Job Description GEMS Royal Dubai School is a vibrant, premium British curriculum school, educating students from FS1 to Year 9, expanding to include Year 10 in September 2027, and annual growth to Year 13. With a diverse student body of over 870 students from more than 48 nationalities, our school combines a strong sense of community with a commitment to the highest academic standards. As we continue to grow, we are thrilled to announce the opening of our new, purpose-built secondary campus — a state-of-the-art facility designed to further enrich the world-class education we offer across two sites.

Job Purpose: To be responsible for a EYFS or primary class, delivering high-quality teaching that inspires curiosity, builds confidence and leads to exceptional outcomes and progress for every student.

Skills Description Key Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Demonstrate secure and up-to-date knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage or the National Curriculum for England within the Primary Phase
  • Plan and deliver consistently high-quality, innovative teaching and learning, while collaborating with colleagues and sharing effective practice
  • Use assessment information and student data effectively to personalise learning, address individual needs and maximise progress
  • Model a high-performance mindset through reflective practice, resilience and a consistently solution-focused approach within a culture of high expectations
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare, wellbeing, and personal and social development of every student
  • Build positive, professional relationships with students, colleagues and parents through clear communication and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Share our ambition to contribute to a world-class school and embrace opportunities for professional growth and career development
  • Contribute actively to the culture and life of GEMS Royal Dubai School, including its extracurricular programme and community events
  • Take ownership of continuous professional learning and apply new knowledge to improve classroom practice
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the Principal.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A recognised UK teaching qualification with QTS
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum / Early Years Foundation Stage
  • A proven record of securing strong student outcomes
