Investment Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Investment Manager will manage and evaluate the Chairman’s personal investments and the Group’s corporate investments, including stocks, trading, private investments, funds, and other financial opportunities.

The role requires strong investment knowledge, financial analysis, market awareness, and the ability to provide clear recommendations to the Chairman.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor personal and company investment portfolios.
• Research and analyze stocks, listed companies, funds, bonds, commodities, and other financial instruments.
• Identify suitable short-, medium-, and long-term investment opportunities.
• Monitor financial markets, economic trends, interest rates, currencies, and commodities.
• Recommend when to buy, hold, increase, reduce, or exit investments.
• Execute or coordinate approved investment and trading transactions.
• Track portfolio performance, profit/loss, dividends, returns, and market value.
• Evaluate private companies, startups, acquisitions, joint ventures, and new business opportunities.
• Conduct financial analysis, valuation, and investment due diligence.
• Manage relationships with banks, brokers, fund managers, investment firms, and financial advisors.
• Monitor investment risks and portfolio exposure.
• Prepare regular investment reports and recommendations for the Chairman.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding personal and company financial information.

Required Experience

• 5–10 years of relevant investment experience.
• Strong practical experience in:
• Stock market investing and trading
• Portfolio management
• Equity and financial analysis
• Funds, ETFs, bonds, and fixed income
• Commodities and foreign exchange
• Private investments
• Corporate investments and acquisitions
• Experience in a family office, private banking, asset management, investment company, private equity, or similar environment is preferred.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• CFA, MBA, or similar qualification is an advantage.
• Strong financial modelling and valuation skills.
• Good understanding of UAE, GCC, and international markets.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• High level of confidentiality, integrity, and discretion.
• Ability to work directly with the Chairman and explain investment decisions clearly.

Ideal Candidate

An experienced investment professional with hands-on knowledge of stocks, trading, portfolio management, and private/corporate investments, who can protect capital, identify good opportunities, manage risk, and provide clear investment recommendations.
