Job description
Senior QA Auditor
Netherlands (Rotterdam) | Vector Talent
Vector Talent is recruiting a Senior QA Auditor on behalf of a confidential client, a global research organisation with operations spanning the US, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Australia and Africa. This role sits within their Netherlands laboratory operations.
This isn't a process-checking role. It's for someone who's genuinely comfortable getting into the data behind a study, GCP trial results or GLP toxicology and safety work, and asking whether the science actually supports the conclusion drawn from it.
About the Role
You'll take ownership of study-based audits, reviewing validation plans, analytical data and reports to ensure findings are accurate, defensible, and genuinely tied to intended use and endpoint, not just compliant on paper. You'll also mentor and coach QA colleagues, helping build a strong, capable team across two sites during a period of real investment in this function.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and review study-based audit findings and reports, based on intended use and endpoint
- Advise and mentor QA colleagues, supporting resolution of QMS findings during audits
- Conduct internal audits and support, follow up on, and host external audits and regulatory inspections
- Review proposed CAPA responses and work with owners to ensure adequate resolution
- Detect deviations, review root cause analysis, and follow up on timely resolution of deviations, CAPAs and effectiveness checks
- Aid in the preparation of local and global management review and KPIs
- Independently manage QA-related projects through to completion
What You'll Bring
- University degree in a relevant scientific field (biology, chemistry, medical technology or related), and/or 5+ years' experience in Quality Assurance and laboratory or clinical research operations
- Demonstrated audit experience against GCP and/or GLP, ideally including toxicology, safety, or clinical endpoint studies
- In-process audit experience, with a demonstrated ability to assess and improve ongoing processes
- Comfort working across multiple sites, with flexibility to travel between Rotterdam and Rijswijk
- A natural mentor, able to coach less experienced auditors while independently managing your own workload
- Fluent English; Dutch and/or French an advantage
