Amplicon Middle East is a value-added distributor of industrial computing, networking, automation, IoT, and communication solutions across the UAE and GCC. We work with leading global technology brands and support customers across industries including manufacturing, transportation, energy, utilities, oil & gas and smart infrastructure.
Position Summary:
We are looking for a motivated, organized and proactive Logistics Executive to manage procurement, shipments, import/export documentation, order fulfillment, inventory & logistics costs.
The role will ensure timely and efficient delivery of customer orders while coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs and internal teams, as well as supporting Sales with stock, order & delivery information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement & PO Management:
- Issue and manage purchase orders, verify pricing, obtain supplier confirmations & track orders through completion.
- International Shipment Coordination:
- Coordinate and monitor import shipments from origin to destination, ensuring timely and efficient movement of goods.
- Plan and advise on the most appropriate shipping route and method, particularly for complex or non-standard shipments.
- Proactively track shipments and address delays, damages, discrepancies & customs-related inquiries.
- Freight & Customs Coordination:
- Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers and relevant authorities to ensure smooth clearance and delivery.
- Customer Order Fulfillment:
- Process customer orders, issue order acknowledgements, arrange outbound shipments and ensure deliveries meet agreed timelines.
- Shipping Documentation & Compliance:
- Prepare, review and maintain import/export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, AWB/BL, certificates of origin, exit certificates & other required documents.
- Follow up to receive packing lists, invoices and all shipment-related documents & apply for MOFAIC attestation when required.
- Handle TDRA registration and supplier registration.
- Upload relevant vendor bills/documents into Zoho.
- Freight & Landed Cost Management:
- Negotiate freight rates, review transportation costs & calculate landed costs to support cost-effective logistics operations.
- Supplier & Vendor Management:
- Follow up with suppliers, resolve delivery or order discrepancies, coordinate RMAs and samples, and support vendor payment coordination.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor stock levels, support replenishment planning, maintain accurate inventory records, and conduct regular stock takes.
- Reporting & Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate shipment, order, inventory & logistics records and provide regular operational and controlling reports to management.
- Issue Resolution & Process Improvement:
- Proactively identify and resolve shipping, billing, documentation and order-related issues while improving logistics efficiency and reducing costs.
- Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Work closely with Sales, Product Management, Finance, Customer Service and other teams to ensure smooth order processing and fulfillment.
- CRM & Sales Support:
- Maintain accurate customer and order information in Zoho CRM.
- Support Sales with stock availability, lead times, delivery updates, customer follow-ups and potential sales opportunities.
- Follow up on pending customer documents and shipping requirements.
- Coordinate with Sales and Logistics teams on pending orders and required actions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, Business Administration, or a related field; Supply Chain / Logistics background is

.
- 2 to 5 years' experience in logistics, supply chain, procurement, import/export or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping, including air/sea freight, Incoterms, freight costs and customs procedures.
- Experience with import/export documentation and UAE customs requirements is a

- Basic knowledge of accounting &financial processes, including invoices, freight costs, landed costs & vendor payments is an

- Experience dealing with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers & shipping companies is a
MUST
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational, follow-up & attention-to-detail skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience using ERP/CRM systems; Zoho Books/CRM system
