Job description

Position: Aluminum Foreman

Department: Aluminum & Glass / Fabrication & Installation

Reports To: Project Manager / Site Engineer / Production Manager

Job Summary

Supervises aluminum and glass fabrication and installation to ensure work meets drawings, quality standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise fabrication and installation at factory and site.

- Assign daily tasks to workers and monitor performance.

- Read shop drawings, cutting lists, and installation details.

- Verify site measurements before work starts.

- Oversee cutting, assembly, and installation of aluminum systems.

- Install doors, windows, curtain walls, partitions, and related works.

- Coordinate glass installation and accessories (hinges, locks, seals, etc.).

- Check alignment, finishing, and quality of completed work.

- Manage materials and report shortages or issues.

- Ensure proper handling and protection of materials.

- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and other trades.

- Track manpower attendance and productivity.

- Ensure work follows schedule and quality standards.

- Fix defects before handover.

- Maintain site cleanliness and enforce safety rules (PPE).

- Report site issues, drawing conflicts, and delays.

Requirements

- 3–5 years’ experience in aluminum fabrication/installation (foreman preferred).

- Strong knowledge of aluminum systems and installation methods.

- Able to read shop drawings and measurements.

- Familiar with tools, machines, and accessories.

- Good leadership and site coordination skills.

- Knowledge of quality and safety standards.

- GCC/UAE experience is an advantage.
