Job Summary

A technical role responsible for supporting and maintaining global infrastructure across hybrid and cloud environments. This role acts as the final escalation point for complex issues and requires strong hands-on expertise across networking, cloud, identity, and security technologies.

Key Responsibilities

·       Act as final escalation point for Service Desk and 2nd line teams globally

·       Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues

·       Administer Azure and AWS environments

·       Support hybrid infrastructure (on-prem and cloud)

·       Support Cisco Meraki estate (firewalls, switches, wireless)

·       Troubleshoot VPNs, VLANs, routing and connectivity

·       Support managing DNS, domains, SPF, DKIM, DMARC

·       Administer and consolidate SSL/TLS certificates

·       Own major incidents through to resolution

·       Support Telephony team with configurations and administration

·       Contribute to infrastructure projects and improvements

·       Experience of data backups and restoration – Druva knowledge ideally

Core Skills (Essential)

·       Exceptional technical communication skills at all levels

·       Strong documentation skills

·       Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki networking (MX, MS, MR)

·       Strong hands-on experience administering Microsoft Azure

·       Strong hands-on experience administering AWS environments

·       Experience managing hybrid environments (on-prem and cloud)

·       Strong DNS and domain management experience (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)

·       Experience managing SSL/TLS certificates

·       Strong experience with Windows Server and Active Directory

·       Experience with Azure AD / Entra, SSO and MFA

·       Proven experience of Microsoft intune, autopilot and conditional access

·       Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills

·       Proven experience handling 3rd line escalations in a fast-paced environment

Experience Required

Minimum 5+ years in infrastructure roles, with proven experience in a 3rd Line Engineer or senior 2nd line position stepping into a 3rd line role. Must demonstrate hands-on experience with Meraki, Azure, AWS, and PowerShell.
