Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager – Aluminum & Façade to lead and manage procurement activities for aluminum systems, façade materials, curtain walls, windows, doors, cladding, and related architectural components.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing procurement strategies, sourcing reliable suppliers, negotiating competitive commercial terms, ensuring timely material availability, and maintaining quality and cost standards across projects.

Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement & Sourcing

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for aluminum, façade systems, glazing, curtain walls, cladding, windows, doors, and related materials.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, manufacturers, subcontractors, and service providers.
• Obtain and compare quotations to ensure competitive pricing and favorable commercial terms.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, lead times, warranties, and contractual conditions.
• Prepare and manage purchase orders in accordance with approved project requirements.
• Monitor procurement schedules and ensure materials are available in line with project timelines.

Project & Material Coordination

• Coordinate closely with Project Management, Design, Estimation, Production, Warehouse, and Finance teams.
• Review material requirements, specifications, approved vendors, and project schedules.
• Track orders from purchase through delivery and resolve delays or supply issues.
• Ensure materials delivered to site or warehouse meet approved specifications and quality requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate material planning to avoid shortages or unnecessary stock.

Supplier & Vendor Management

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors.
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, price, delivery, service, and reliability.
• Conduct regular supplier reviews and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain an updated supplier database and approved vendor list.
• Identify alternative suppliers and materials to reduce procurement risks.

Cost Control & Commercial Management

• Conduct market research and monitor fluctuations in aluminum, glass, hardware, and other façade material prices.
• Identify cost-saving and value-engineering opportunities without compromising quality.
• Support project teams during commercial negotiations and material substitutions.
• Review supplier quotations and commercial terms to ensure alignment with project budgets.
• Prepare procurement forecasts, cost comparisons, and management reports.

Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, project specifications, and approved procedures.
• Maintain proper documentation for quotations, comparisons, purchase orders, delivery notes, and supplier records.
• Coordinate with Quality and Project teams regarding material approvals and inspection requirements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable UAE import, customs, logistics, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 12–15 years of procurement experience, preferably within aluminum, façade, glazing, or construction companies.
• Strong technical knowledge of aluminum systems, curtain walls, structural glazing, cladding, windows, doors, hardware, and façade materials.
• Proven experience in supplier sourcing, price negotiation, purchasing, contract management, and vendor development.
• Strong understanding of procurement planning, material lead times, logistics, and inventory management.
• Experience dealing with local and international suppliers is preferred.
• UAE/GCC procurement experience is highly preferred.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, suppliers, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong commercial awareness and cost-control skills.
