Waiter/Cashier

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen/bar to guests quickly and accurately.
• Ensure the correct order is served to the correct table.
• Support waiters and Front of House staff during busy service periods.
• Clear and reset tables promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, service stations, and guest areas.
• Assist with preparing cutlery, napkins, trays, and other service items.
• Communicate clearly with the kitchen, barista team, cashiers, and supervisors.
• Check food presentation before serving to guests.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards at all times.
• Handle guest requests professionally and report complaints or concerns to the supervisor.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Follow company grooming, uniform, attendance, and service standards.
• Support takeaway and delivery orders when required.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Restaurant Manager or Supervisor.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Waiter, Runner, or Food Runner in a café, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Good English communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Presentable appearance and excellent personal hygiene.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Team player with a positive and flexible attitude.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Café or specialty coffee shop experience.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
• Understanding of food hygiene and safety procedures.
• Ability to communicate with guests professionally.
• Experience working in a high-volume hospitality operation.
