Cold Appetizer

Position Summary:

The Cold Appetizer Chef is responsible for preparing a variety of cold dishes, including salads, cold hors d'oeuvres, and other chilled appetizers. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation and Presentation:

Prepare and plate cold appetizers according to the restaurant's standards and recipes.

Ensure the quality, presentation, and consistency of all cold dishes served.

Menu Development:

Assist in developing and updating the cold appetizer menu.

Innovate and create new cold appetizer recipes to keep the menu fresh and exciting.

Ingredient Management:

Select and procure the finest ingredients for cold appetizers.

Ensure all ingredients are fresh and stored properly to maintain quality.

Kitchen Operations:

Maintain a clean and organized workstation.

Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.

Quality Control:

Conduct regular quality checks on cold dishes.

Respond to customer feedback and make necessary adjustments to improve dishes.

Experience:

Proven experience as a Cold Appetizer Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel.

Strong background in preparing a variety of cold appetizers.

Skills:

Excellent knife skills and proficiency in kitchen equipment.

Creative culinary skills and an eye for detail in presentation.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
