Building Evolution Contracting is looking for an experienced Low Current Systems Engineer (ELV Engineer) to join our Electrical Department in Dubai.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the engineering, coordination, supervision, testing, and commissioning of low-current systems across our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, review, and coordinate Low Current / ELV systems within the Electrical Department.
• Prepare and review shop drawings, layouts, schematics, technical submittals, material submittals, and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate Low Current systems with electrical, MEP, architectural, structural, and interior design works.
• Supervise installation works on construction sites and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Electrical Engineers, MEP teams, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
• Perform and supervise testing and commissioning of Low Current systems.
• Identify technical conflicts and provide engineering solutions.
• Prepare RFIs and other required technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable UAE regulations, authority requirements, project specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor subcontractors and suppliers to ensure works are completed according to project requirements and schedule.
• Support project handover and preparation of final technical documentation.

• Structured Cabling
• Data & Network Systems
• Wi-Fi Systems
• SMATV / IPTV
• Public Address Systems
• Audio / Video Systems
• Gate Barrier & Parking Systems
• Home Automation / Smart Home Systems
• ELV integrations with other MEP and building systems

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Dubai/UAE in Low Current / ELV systems.
• Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience in a construction or MEP environment is required.
• Experience with residential villas and high-end construction projects is a strong advantage.
• Strong understanding of Low Current systems from design and drawings through installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Ability to read and review electrical and ELV drawings.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of relevant UAE regulations and authority requirements.
• Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of English.
• Ability to work effectively as part of the Electrical Department and coordinate with other project disciplines.
• UAE driving licence is an advantage.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
