Job Title: Structural Design Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer to join our multidisciplinary design team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for the structural design and delivery of low-rise and high-rise building projects, working closely with architects, MEP engineers, Revit modelers, project leads, and other stakeholders.

The role requires strong technical expertise in concrete and steel structures, structural analysis and design software, Dubai Building Code, and multidisciplinary design coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop structural designs for reinforced concrete and steel buildings across all project stages.
• Prepare and review structural calculations, drawings, specifications, reports, and 3D models.
• Perform structural analysis and design for low-rise and high-rise buildings.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, Revit modelers, project leads, and other consultants to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Ensure structural designs comply with the Dubai Building Code, applicable authority requirements, and relevant international standards.
• Participate in design coordination meetings, technical reviews, workshops, and client discussions.
• Review structural drawings, models, calculations, and technical submissions.
• Provide technical support during tendering and construction stages.
• Respond to RFIs and technical queries and review structural shop drawings and contractor submissions.
• Identify design issues and provide practical and technically sound solutions.
• Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines while maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering.
• Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering will be an advantage.
• Minimum 10 years of proven experience in structural design of buildings and towers.
• Strong experience with both reinforced concrete and steel structures.
• Valid Unlimited Dubai Municipality accreditation is mandatory.
• Strong proficiency in structural design and analysis software, including:
• ETABS
• SAFE
• RAM Concept
• PROKON
• STAAD Pro
• Revit
• Strong understanding of Dubai Building Code and relevant international structural design standards.
• Good knowledge of architectural design principles and building construction methodologies.
• Experience working on high-rise and large-scale building projects is highly preferred.
• Strong multidisciplinary coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple design deliverables and meet strict project deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to technical accuracy and quality.

A technically strong Structural Design Engineer who can independently handle structural design deliverables, coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to the successful delivery of complex building projects in the UAE.

Candidates who do not meet the mandatory Dubai Municipality Unlimited accreditation requirement may not be considered.
