Internship – AI for Neural Signal Processing in Healthcare Innovation (f/m/x)

Your Role

For our team of researchers and engineers, we are looking for a student to support our concept work on AI-driven solutions for future medical applications in neuroscience and healthcare.

Development and integration of state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms for future ophthalmic and other medical devices

Gain hands-on experience with multiple neural signal modalities

Analyze, research, test, and implement core functions for multimodal data from the fields of neuroscience and healthcare

Search for solutions in scientific literature and patent documents, and tailor these solutions to our needs

Conduct and evaluate experiments on large scale real-world datasets

Your Profile

A bachelor’s degree and current enrollment in a master’s program in computer science, biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, mathematics, mechanical engineering, or a related field with a focus on machine learning

Advanced programming experience in Python, ideally prior experience in C/C++

Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch

Ideally, expertise in neuroscience and electrophysiological data analysis

Preferably experience in software development with Microsoft Azure

Excellent organization, problem-solving & communication skills (English and/or German)

A passion for innovation and enthusiasm for new technologies as well as motivation to work in agile, interdisciplinary teams
