About this role
The Commis Chef is responsible for supporting the kitchen team with daily food preparation, cooking, mise en place, cleanliness, and service execution. The role requires a motivated and disciplined individual who can follow recipes, preparation standards, and instructions from senior chefs while maintaining consistent quality, hygiene, and presentation. The Commis Chef is expected to support smooth kitchen operations, keep the assigned section organized, and continuously develop technical skills and product knowledge.
Requirements
Minimum 1–2 years of kitchen experience, preferably within premium cafés, hotels, restaurants, or high-quality casual dining concepts. Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, kitchen hygiene, food safety, and proper storage procedures is required. The candidate must be organized, reliable, willing to learn, and able to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Strong attention to detail, good personal hygiene, and the ability to follow recipes, instructions, and operational standards consistently are essential.
Pay: AED1,700.00 - AED2,700.00 per month
