About the Job:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Security Manager to join our hotel Jumeirah Mina Al Salam

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Coordinate and oversee Security Officers and Paramedics , ensuring the safety and security of all guests, colleagues, and resort facilities.
• Monitor and maintain property security , identifying potential risks, hazards, and security threats and taking appropriate action.
• Develop and deliver security training programs , ensuring colleagues are familiar with security, fire prevention, and emergency procedures.
• Prepare and maintain incident reports, SOPs, key control, and lost property records , ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.
• Liaise with police and external authorities when handling investigations related to crimes, accidents, or incidents involving the resort.
• Lead and develop the security team through performance appraisals, coaching, counselling, and disciplinary actions , while identifying and addressing training needs.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications

• Higher Secondary Education in a relevant field; college graduate or Degree in Criminology is desirable.
• Dubai Police Security License with relevant Dubai Police-approved security training.
• Minimum 5 years of Security, Police, or Military experience, preferably with customer-facing/service-oriented experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of CCTV operations, Fire & Safety, and intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, project management, creativity, and attention to detail skills.
