Job description
The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) is looking for an experienced finance leader to head our Financial Sustainability & Enablement (FS&E) function. This is a rare opportunity to lead the financial strategy behind one of the region's most dynamic cultural and tourism portfolios — spanning museums, heritage sites, events, festivals, and hospitality — and to directly shape how the sector grows sustainably for the next decade.
What You'll Do
- Lead DCT's financial sustainability strategy, driving revenue growth and cost optimization across a multi-billion-dirham cultural and tourism portfolio.
- Own pricing strategy and governance for DCT's products and services, from tourism fees to ticketing and commercial partnerships.
- Build and lead the financial performance measurement systems — dashboards, KPIs, and reporting — that inform decisions at the highest levels.
- Design and lead a risk-based audit program safeguarding hundreds of millions of dirhams in sector revenue.
- Champion the digitization of finance processes across the department.
- Lead, develop, and grow a talented finance team recognized as the department's trusted source of financial truth.
What You'll Bring
- 12–15+ years of progressive finance experience across FP&A, pricing, or financial sustainability roles.
- A track record of building financial frameworks, pricing structures, or governance models from the ground up.
- Experience in government, public sector, or large multinational finance environments.
- Strong leadership skills and a passion for developing people.
- CPA, CFA or other relevant certification that would help
- A genuine interest in culture, tourism, and Abu Dhabi's growth story.
