Automobile Service Advisor – Job Description

Job Summary:
The Service Advisor acts as the main link between customers and the workshop, handling vehicle reception, customer concerns, job cards, quotations, repair approvals, workshop coordination, and vehicle delivery. The role focuses on customer satisfaction, service quality, and achieving workshop revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive customers and understand vehicle complaints and service requirements.
• Prepare accurate job cards, quotations, and repair estimates.
• Coordinate with technicians and workshop teams to ensure timely repairs.
• Obtain customer approval for additional repairs and services.
• Keep customers updated on repair progress, costs, and delivery timelines.
• Explain completed repairs, invoices, and maintenance recommendations during vehicle handover.
• Handle customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
• Recommend additional maintenance and repair services where appropriate.
• Coordinate with spare parts, accounts, warranty, and workshop departments.
• Maintain accurate customer and vehicle service records.
• Follow up with customers after service and support customer retention.
• Achieve service revenue, customer satisfaction, and workshop performance targets.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or similar role.
• Good knowledge of automotive mechanical and electrical systems.
• Strong customer service, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prepare quotations and explain technical issues clearly to customers.
• Basic computer skills and experience with workshop management systems.
• UAE/GCC automotive workshop experience is preferred.
• UAE driving licence is an advantage.
• Diploma/Degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
