Job description

Purpose:

The Marketing & Communications Business Partner – Dubai Office serves as the primary representative of Bahri’s Marketing & Communications (MarCom) function in Dubai. The role ensures effective coordination between Dubai-based business units and the MarCom team at headquarters in Riyadh, while supporting business leaders in marketing, communication, media, events, and stakeholder engagement activities.

The position plays a dual role:

Strategic : Representing MarCom in leadership interactions and ensuring alignment with Bahri’s corporate positioning, brand, and communication strategy.

Operational : Coordinating, tracking, and reporting marketing and communication activities to enhance Bahri’s regional presence and execution quality.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Strategic Representation & Alignment

• Act as the official MarCom representative for the Dubai office.

• Support Dubai-based presidents and senior leaders in communication-related matters and external engagements.

• Ensure all regional activities align with Bahri’s corporate strategy, brand identity, and communication standards.

2. Coordination & Follow-up

• Serve as the primary liaison between Dubai business units and the MarCom team in Riyadh.

• Collect, document, prioritize, and follow up on marketing and communication requests until completion.

• Coordinate closely with HQ teams and appointed agencies to ensure aligned and timely execution.

3. Events, Conferences & External Engagements

• Identify and track relevant industry conferences, exhibitions, forums, and events involving Bahri leadership.

• Coordinate with HQ to prepare briefing materials, talking points, presentations, and media assets.

• Support event logistics, on-site MarCom representation, and post-event reporting.

• Attend selected events when required and document outcomes, observations, and communication opportunities.

4. Media & Communication Support

• Support regional media engagements in coordination with Corporate Communications.

• Assist in managing press interactions, interviews, statements, and executive visibility opportunities.

• Identify regional stories, partnerships, and milestones suitable for corporate communication or media coverage.

5. Weekly Business Activity Monitoring & Reporting

• Prepare and submit a weekly business activity report covering Dubai-based business unit updates and initiatives.

• Identify communication, branding, and marketing opportunities emerging from business activities.

• Highlight achievements, partnerships, contracts, and milestones for storytelling and visibility purposes.

6. Marketing & Communication Planning

• Develop and maintain a quarterly Marketing & Communication calendar for Dubai-related initiatives.

• Update the calendar monthly in coordination with HQ.

• Track progress against planned initiatives and provide follow-up and status reports.

7. Meetings & Governance

• Organize and facilitate weekly coordination meetings with Dubai-based business units.

• Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and action trackers.

• Submit monthly summary reports outlining completed activities, upcoming initiatives, risks, and recommendations.

8. Internal Communication & Employee Engagement

• Support internal communication initiatives in the Dubai office in coordination with HQ.

• Assist in organizing local employee engagement activities, campaigns, and internal events.

• Ensure internal initiatives align with corporate messaging and engagement guidelines.

Authority & Decision-Making

• Authorized to manage day-to-day MarCom coordination and activities in Dubai within approved frameworks.

• Escalates strategic, reputational, or high-risk matters to the VP – Marketing & Communications.

• Provides recommendations and insights to support informed decision-making by HQ.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Master’s degree is an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in marketing, corporate communications, public relations, or related fields.

• Experience in a Business Partner, regional coordination, or representative role is highly preferred.

• Proven experience working with senior executives, cross-functional teams, and external agencies.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong coordination, follow-up, and stakeholder management skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic .

• Solid understanding of corporate branding, media, events, and communication governance.

• High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidence in representing the organization.

• Ability to work independently while remaining fully aligned with a centralized HQ team.
