Legal and Compliance Manager

The ideal candidate will be responsible for all in house legal matters for this rapidly expanding shipping/maritime business.

Responsibilities

• Support the review, preparation and management of commercial contracts, agreements and legal documentation.
• Support the preparation and review of confidentiality agreements, supplier agreements, client agreements and other business documentation.
• Provide administrative and legal support for cross-border business activities.
• Maintain awareness of international legal considerations relevant to the Company's operations.
• Assist with KYC documentation, due diligence requests and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain confidential legal files and ensure documentation is stored securely.
• Support the Company in ensuring legal and regulatory obligations are appropriately managed.
• Assist with maintaining corporate records across multiple company entities.

Qualifications

• Experience in maritime/shipping/charters is preferred
• Minimum 6 years experience, ideally with some EU experience
• Law Degree
