In order to support the Maintenance and Ground Operations, Airbus Helicopters is looking for an

Intern within Helicopters Maintenance definition & Improvement (d/f/m)

Start: As soon as possible

Duration: 3-6 months

Maintenance operations on helicopters are key activities for Airbus customers. 

In this way, maintenance workload must be optimized  in order to maximize helicopter fleet availability and meet customer expectations.

If you are pursuing a Master's Degree in Engineering or a related field and seek experience in helicopter maintenance development, this opportunity is for you. We are offering a six-month internship within our Design Office for Maintenance and Ground Support Operations.

This position is located in Airbus Helicopters Design Office organisation within the Maintenance and Ground Operations department. You will work within this department (approximately 70 employees, spread across Marignane and Donauwörth)

Your location

At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

Your tasks and responsibilities

Support the improvement of maintenance plans for existing helicopter models.

Evaluate and propose process improvements for maintenance management.

Analyse and propose an integrated digital support to define maintenance tasks and interval definition (based on 3D model data).

Desired skills and qualifications

You are pursuing a Master's Degree in Engineering (aeronautic or mechanical background)

Basic understanding of helicopter systems and architectures is a plus

Familiarity with CAD software, specifically CATIA.

Process-oriented mindset.

Strong self-organization and project management abilities.

Good team spirit and Appetite for collaborative work

Intermediate proficiency in English.
