Accounts Manager

Job Title: Accounts Manager

Experience: 5 to 8+ years in Accounting/Finance, preferably with UAE experience
Location: Dubai, UAE
Employment Type: Full Time

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee complete financial and accounting operations.
• Manage General Ledger, AP, AR, payroll and fixed assets.
• Supervise monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing.
• Prepare P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and management reports.
• Handle VAT and Corporate Tax compliance and filings.
• Manage customer reconciliations, aging reports and collections.
• Conduct regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Analyze financial performance, variances and cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Establish and maintain strong internal financial controls.
• Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and IFRS.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, tax advisors and regulatory authorities.
• Lead, supervise and mentor the finance/accounts team.
• Prepare ADHOC financial reports as required by management.
• Undertake any other responsibilities assigned by management within the group.

Ideal Candidate

• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and IFRS.
• Experience with ERP/accounting software and advanced Excel.
• Strong financial analysis, reporting and reconciliation skills.
• Excellent leadership and team-management abilities.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• UAE experience in a group/company environment would be an advantage.
