About the Role

We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Counter Staff to join our restaurant team. The role involves taking customer orders, handling payments, serve and other menu items, and maintaining a clean and welcoming kiosk.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service.
• Take dine-in, takeaway, and kiosk orders accurately.
• Explain menu items, ingredients, sauces, and available options to customers.
• Serve momos and other food items according to restaurant standards.
• Operate the POS/cashier system and handle cash and card payments accurately.
• Ensure orders are packed correctly and handed to customers promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the counter, kiosk, equipment, and customer area.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
• Check stock levels of packaging, sauces, beverages, and other kiosk supplies.
• Inform the supervisor about low stock, customer complaints, equipment issues, or operational concerns.
• Support opening and closing procedures, including cleaning and stock preparation.
• Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining accuracy and service quality.
• Follow company policies, recipes, portion standards, and service procedures.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in restaurant, café, food kiosk, is preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, positive, and professional attitude.
• Basic English communication skills; Fluency in Hindi is a strong advantage.
• Ability to handle cash/POS transactions accurately.
• Good personal hygiene and grooming.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• UAE food-safety/food-handler certification is an advantage.
