Job description
Job Summary:
The Pool Attendant is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and enjoyable pool environment for guests. This includes ensuring hygiene standards, providing guest assistance, and monitoring safety in line with hotel and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome and assist guests at the pool area with towels, seating, umbrellas, and amenities.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the pool, sun loungers, and surrounding facilities.
Monitor guest activities to ensure compliance with pool safety rules.
Report any incidents, unsafe conditions, or maintenance issues immediately.
Support lifeguards and recreation staff in ensuring guest safety.
Ensure towel and amenity stock is replenished at all times.
Comply with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Valid Pool Lifeguard / First Aid / CPR certification (mandatory).
Previous experience in hotels, resorts, or recreation facilities preferred.
Knowledge of pool safety and hygiene standards.
Friendly, approachable, and guest-service oriented.
Good communication skills in English (other languages are an advantage).
Ability to work outdoors and on rotating shifts.
Physical Requirements:
Must be physically fit and able to work outdoors for long periods.
Ability to lift pool equipment, umbrellas, and supplies when required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED1,200.00 per month
