Field Service Engineer – Scientific Instrumentation

Benelux & Nordics

€60,000–€80,000 + Company Car + Excellent Benefits

We're partnering with a leading supplier of high-end analytical and surface characterisation systems that is expanding across the Benelux and Nordic regions.

The Company

This privately owned business supplies cutting-edge scientific instrumentation to research institutes, universities and industry. Their portfolio includes:

  • Atomic Force Microscopes (AFM)
  • Electron Microscopes
  • Optical Profilers
  • MicroCT Systems
  • Thin Film Measurement Equipment
  • Mechanical Testing Systems
  • Surface Analysis Equipment (XPS, SIMS & Auger)
  • Active Vibration Isolation Systems

They represent several globally recognised manufacturers and have built an excellent reputation through technical expertise and outstanding customer support.

The Role

Joining an established team of engineers, you'll install, service and repair sophisticated scientific instrumentation across the Benelux and Nordic regions, working closely with researchers, scientists and engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, commission and maintain advanced scientific equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis
  • Provide breakdown support and customer training
  • Produce service documentation
  • Build strong customer relationships through excellent technical support

About You

You'll have experience servicing complex capital equipment within scientific, semiconductor, laboratory or high-tech industrial environments.

Ideally you'll bring:

  • Experience installing and servicing technical equipment
  • Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
  • Customer-facing service experience
  • Fluent Dutch and English
  • Full driving licence
  • Willingness to travel (approximately 60%) across the Benelux and Nordics
