JOB TITLE

Technician | Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment | Operations

ROLE SUMMARY

As a Technician, you will be responsible for executing a range of operations and maintenance tasks related to our amusement and arcade assets. These include inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities, all performed in accordance with company standards and safety protocols.

This role plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation, safety, and reliability of the entertainment equipment and infrastructure at our sites. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical or mechanical engineering and previous experience in the leisure or family entertainment industry.

ROLE PROFILE

• Conduct daily inspections of arcade machines, rides, and facility systems to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical assets to minimize downtime and extend asset life.
• Troubleshoot and carry out corrective and emergency repairs on amusement equipment and support systems.
• Ensure that all maintenance activities adhere to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) guidelines and internal SOPs.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks, spare parts usage, and repair activities.
• Respond promptly to technical faults during operating hours to minimize guest disruption.
• Collaborate with operations and guest services teams to ensure optimal equipment uptime and guest satisfaction.
• Provide input for continuous improvement in technical processes and systems.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in operations and maintenance roles, preferably within the leisure or family entertainment sector.
• Familiarity with arcade machines, amusement rides, simulators, VR setups, or related electro-mechanical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good understanding of safety practices and compliance requirements.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays, based on operational needs.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and documentation skills.
