Technician Level 3/Field Management Consumer

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Field Technician is responsible for the installation, activation, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of E& telecommunications services, including fiber optic (FTTH), internet, telephone, IPTV, Wi-Fi, and smart home solutions. The role requires delivering high-quality field services while ensuring compliance with E& standards, safety regulations, and service level agreements (SLAs).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install, activate, and commission FTTH, internet, landline, IPTV, and Wi-Fi services at customer premises.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure uninterrupted network performance.
• Diagnose and resolve faults related to Fiber optic cables, ONTs, routers, set-top boxes, and associated customer premises equipment.
• Conduct testing using approved tools to verify service quality and connectivity.
• Respond promptly to customer service requests and fault tickets within agreed SLAs.
• Ensure all installations and repairs comply with Etisalat technical standards and HSE requirements.
• Accurately update work orders, installation reports, and service records using the company’s field service systems.
• Educate customers on the proper use of installed services and equipment.
• Coordinate with network operations, supervisors, and dispatch teams to resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Maintain company tools, testing equipment, vehicles, and materials in good condition.
• Adhere to quality standards and achieve assigned productivity and customer satisfaction targets

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience in FTTH installation, fiber splicing, broadband, IPTV, and telecommunication field services is preferred.
• Knowledge of fiber optic technologies, GPON networks, routers, ONTs, and structured cabling.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently in field environments and under time-sensitive conditions.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,400.00 per month
