Role Description The BIM Modeler role at MEP Mate is an on-site position based in Jamshedpur. The BIM Modeler is responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining detailed BIM models for MEP and architectural systems according to project standards and client requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting construction drawings, coordinating with design and engineering teams, and ensuring model accuracy and consistency across disciplines. The role also involves checking for clashes, applying design changes, preparing model-based documentation, and supporting project teams with model exports and views for coordination meetings. The BIM Modeler works closely with project managers and engineers to meet deadlines, maintain quality, and contribute to efficient project workflows.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Modeler tools and workflows.
• Candidates should possess skills related to Architecture and reading/interpreting Construction Drawings.
• Candidates should possess skills in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) modeling and coordination.
• Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, spatial visualization, and problem-solving abilities.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with BIM software (such as Revit or similar tools) and familiarity with industry standards.
• Candidates should possess effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
• Candidates should possess a diploma or degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field; prior experience in BIM or MEP projects is preferred.
