Estimation Engineer

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Study and understand the job scope requirements for the structural steel RFQs.
• Send RFQ for materials / sub-contractors, review supplier / sub-contractor quotation and maintain database.
• Coordinate with client for technical queries and get clarification.
• Coordinate with operational team for assigned site visit / job explanation meeting representatives.
• Coordinate with Technical Section Head for preparation of Technical Proposal.
• Prepare work breakdown structure / bid Summary by summarizing manpower cost, equipment cost, material cost & sub-contractor cost.
• Prepare commercial proposal and necessary form provided by client.
• Review commercial proposal with Estimation Manager.
• Submit proposal and update logbook / ERP the status of assigned jobs as required.
• Reply all post bid queries received from clients.
• Upon award, handover all bid package, proposals, pre-bid & post bid clarification and correspondence to project team.

• Knowledge in Painting calculations for various paint specifications.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience working as a Estimation Engineer.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
