Job description

Major Responsibilities & Duties performed:

  • Getting feedback from Production Shift In charge / Superintendent (I & C) for any work required.

  • Plan the manpower (Foreman + Technician) for all jobs.

  • Ensuring the quality of Work and safety in the work areas.

  • Ensure availability of spares & consumable for shift activity & inform any unavailability to concerned Superintendent.

  • Follow up instrument calibration & PM schedule & prepare the calibration / PM reports.

  • Prepare ISO related documents.

  • Calibration of Weigh feeders & Belt weighing systems.

  • Calibration & PM checks for Analyzers systems.

  • Handover the shift while ensuring that.

  • All Pending Work Permit

  • During reliving time, inform all the job status to Reliever.

  • Availability of Test Equipment and Common Tools.

  • Ensure that standard practices are being followed and any deviation reported.

  • All the Plant activity should be recorded in the Shift log.

  • Housekeeping is well controlled after completion of all job.

  • Required Training conducting for Subordinates (Foreman & Technician)

  • CloseCo-ordination with Process and other Departments.

  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

  • To understand and follow the organizational HS&E policies.

  • To follow safety instructions related to their jobs.

  • To report damaged PPE, unsafe machines of equipment to concern staff.

  • To keep the provided PPEs in good & workable conditions.

  • To avoid any horseplay and abuse of safety devices, equipment and welfare facilities.

  • To report any accidents, near misses of hazardous conditions to concerned responsible.

  • To attend safety training planned

  • Having a right to say “NO” to any unsafe work.
